Hedia Diabetes Assistant is a free medical device app designed to help individuals with diabetes manage their condition and achieve stable blood sugar levels. Specifically recommended for people with insulin-dependent diabetes, such as type 1 diabetes, this app offers a range of features to assist in diabetes management.

With Hedia Diabetes Assistant, users can easily assess the amount of carbohydrates in their meals, receive insulin dosage recommendations, track their blood sugar levels, monitor time in range, record exercise and carb intake, and receive reminders to regulate blood sugar when necessary. The app also provides a carb calculator developed by nutrition experts, an insulin calculator, and a personal diabetes tracker and logbook.

For added convenience, the app supports data transfer of blood glucose measurements through NFC or Bluetooth from compatible devices such as GlucoMen Areo, GlucoMen Areo2k, Contour NEXT ONE, Keto Mojo GKI, Beurer GL49, and VTrust by BSI. Please note that the compatibility with NovoPen 6 and NovoPen Echo Plus has not been assessed by Novo Nordisk A/S.
